Jimmie Arroyo started his career as an illustrator after recieving his BFA from Parsons School of Design in Manhattan. He worked with an airbrush and acrylics for over fifteen years, but decided to abandon illustration for a more classical style of fine art. Arroyo is now concentrating on contemporary graphite portraits but also works in pastels. He finds inspiration from the works of da Vinci, Klimt Degas and many others.
