“Yesterday is but today’s memory, and tomorrow is today’s dream.” – Khalil GibranMemories are a form of time travel. The idea of memories, how we deal with them in our minds, how they influence our present and our outlook on the future inspires my work. I seek to explore how we can at times manipulate memories of moments into something different than what we actually experienced. Through my paintings and sculptures I examine how an object, a scent, a color has the ability to trigger a remembrance that transports you.
